This document is preserved as historical provenance. It does not carry live normative authority. The ratified TXFR Product Constitution v0.1 is the current supreme authority within the TXFR Foundation. This document is retained because it preserves the product thinking that preceded constitutional ratification — including language, framing, and detail that the Constitution deliberately generalized, deferred to later publications, or did not carry forward unchanged. It has not been edited to align more closely with the ratified Constitution.

TXFR™ Product Concept
Version: 0.1 Status: Concept Product: TXFR Companion Intelligence: Atlas Purpose: Define the initial product philosophy, intelligence model, and MVP boundaries for TXFR.
1. Product Vision
TXFR is goal-based capital intelligence that helps people intentionally build, grow, transfer, and protect wealth toward meaningful future outcomes.
TXFR is not intended to predict markets, automatically trade securities, or tell users what they must buy or sell.
Instead, TXFR understands:
- what the user is trying to accomplish;
- how much time remains;
- what assets the user owns;
- the role each asset serves;
- how capital is intended to move between those assets;
- how the user is contributing toward the goal;
- what milestones define progress; and
- when changing market conditions create circumstances worth considering.
Atlas interprets this intelligence conversationally and surfaces meaningful observations and opportunities.
Atlas observes. Atlas explains. Atlas identifies opportunities. The user decides.
2. Foundational Philosophy
TXFR is built around three principles:
Every dollar has a job. Every asset has a role. Every strategy has a destination.
Traditional investment applications primarily answer:
What do I own and what is it worth?
TXFR should increasingly answer:
What does what I own mean for what I am trying to accomplish?
Portfolio tracking is therefore an input to TXFR rather than its ultimate purpose.
3. Goals, Not Portfolios
The primary organizational object in TXFR should be a Goal.
Examples include:
Future Wealth
A parent builds long-term assets for a child with the intention of eventually transferring responsibility for the strategy to that child.
First Home
Build toward a future down payment while progressively protecting accumulated capital as the purchase date approaches.
Vehicle
Accumulate toward a vehicle purchase with a defined target and time horizon.
Wedding
Grow and preserve capital toward a future wedding expense.
Education
Build assets toward future education costs.
Financial Independence
Long-duration wealth accumulation without a fixed purchase date.
Custom Goal
Allow users to define their own destination, target, horizon and strategy.
A user may eventually maintain multiple Goals simultaneously.
4. Goal Anatomy
Each TXFR Goal can eventually contain:
Destination What is this capital intended to accomplish?
Target A dollar amount, asset-holding target, age, date, milestone, or combination.
Time Horizon When might this capital be required?
Strategy How should capital generally behave while pursuing the goal?
Holdings The assets currently contributing toward the Goal.
Asset Roles The purpose assigned to each asset.
Contribution Plan Recurring or discretionary contributions.
Milestones Intermediate objectives demonstrating progress.
Capital Flow Rules User-defined boundaries governing how capital may move between asset roles.
Atlas Intelligence Contextual observations derived from the Goal, strategy, holdings and market conditions.
5. Asset Roles
TXFR should understand that different assets can perform fundamentally different jobs.
An asset should not be treated merely as a ticker symbol and percentage allocation.
Initial conceptual roles include:
Compounding
Assets intended primarily for long-duration accumulation.
Examples might include diversified equity funds or dividend-oriented investments.
These assets should generally be protected from unnecessary interruption.
Opportunity
Assets deliberately held because their volatility or growth characteristics may create asymmetric opportunities.
The objective is not necessarily to hold the maximum possible quantity forever.
Successful appreciation may eventually create opportunities to advance other Goal milestones.
Reserve
Capital intentionally maintained to preserve optionality.
A Reserve may potentially be deployed when predefined opportunity conditions emerge.
Reserve assets should have minimum floors and should not automatically be exhausted because another asset declines.
Stability
Assets intended to reduce overall Goal volatility or preserve accumulated progress.
Their importance may increase as a Goal approaches its destination.
Custom
Users may eventually define specialized roles appropriate to their strategy.
6. Capital Flow
TXFR should understand permitted capital flows, rather than assuming every holding can freely rebalance into every other holding.
Example:
Opportunity Asset → Compounding Asset Permitted.
Opportunity Asset → Reserve Permitted.
Reserve → Opportunity Asset Conditionally permitted.
Compounding Asset → Opportunity Asset Normally protected or prohibited.
This creates intentional asymmetry.
A successful speculative or high-volatility asset can progressively create permanent long-term wealth without requiring that permanent wealth to be repeatedly placed back at risk.
This behavior can create a wealth ratchet:
Opportunity → Harvest → Compound → Preserve
while maintaining a separate reserve capable of supporting future opportunities.
Capital-flow rules should remain user-controlled.
7. DCA Intelligence
Dollar Cost Averaging should be a first-class TXFR capability.
TXFR should distinguish among three forms.
Base DCA
Regular accumulation that continues regardless of ordinary market fluctuations.
Its purpose is consistency.
Adaptive DCA
TXFR evaluates Goal progress, asset roles, allocations and milestones and identifies where the user's next contribution may have the greatest strategic relevance.
Opportunity DCA
When unusual conditions emerge, Atlas may highlight that the user's normal contribution could potentially be redirected toward an asset currently within a predefined opportunity range.
New contributions should generally be considered before disturbing established compounding holdings.
A conceptual capital hierarchy might be:
New Contributions → Available Cash/Distributions → Reserve → Protected Compounding Assets
The final layer should require substantially greater justification than the others.
8. Milestone Harvesting
TXFR should allow users to establish Harvesting Milestones for high-growth or high-volatility assets.
Harvesting should not simply mean:
Asset increased X%, therefore sell.
Instead, TXFR evaluates appreciation within the context of:
- Goal progress;
- asset role;
- portfolio concentration;
- user-defined allocation ranges;
- previous harvesting milestones;
- cost basis;
- holding period;
- applicable tax considerations where supported;
- remaining exposure;
- reserve condition; and
- time remaining before the Goal.
Possible milestones include:
- price thresholds;
- percentage appreciation;
- portfolio concentration;
- gain since previous harvest;
- asset-value milestones;
- Goal-progress milestones; or
- combinations of conditions.
Atlas may surface:
Harvesting Milestone Approaching
Recent appreciation has moved this asset closer to one of the milestones defined by your strategy. If current conditions continue, an opportunity may emerge to advance your long-term accumulation goals.
Atlas provides context.
The user determines whether any transaction occurs.
9. Opportunity Accumulation
TXFR should also recognize the inverse situation.
Significant declines in an Opportunity asset may create circumstances the user wishes to evaluate.
TXFR may consider:
- drawdown from recent highs;
- historical volatility;
- current Goal allocation;
- existing exposure;
- available reserve;
- remaining reserve floor;
- upcoming DCA contributions;
- time horizon; and
- previously defined strategy rules.
A price decline alone should never automatically imply an attractive investment.
Atlas should communicate conditions rather than certainty.
For example:
Opportunity Conditions Developing
This asset has moved substantially below its recent range and now represents less of your Goal than previously. Your reserve remains above its minimum threshold.
Conditions are becoming more consistent with the accumulation parameters you've established.
The user remains responsible for the decision.
10. Reserve Intelligence
A Reserve is not simply unused money.
It provides optionality.
TXFR should track:
- current reserve value;
- target reserve;
- minimum reserve floor;
- amount potentially available for deployment;
- previous deployments;
- replenishment progress; and
- Goal conditions affecting reserve importance.
Reserve deployment should generally occur progressively rather than all at once.
TXFR should recognize that a falling asset can continue falling.
The system should therefore support staged opportunity thresholds rather than treating the first significant decline as an all-in signal.
11. Milestones
Milestones transform portfolio activity into visible progress.
Examples:
Asset Milestones
- 500 XRP retained
- 25 SCHD shares
- 50 SWTSX shares
- 100 shares of a selected fund
Harvest Milestones
- $1,000 lifetime gains harvested
- $5,000 transferred from Opportunity assets into Compounding assets
Reserve Milestones
- $500 opportunity reserve
- reserve restored following deployment
Goal Milestones
- $5,000 accumulated
- $10,000 accumulated
- 50% of house down payment achieved
- Age 18 target achieved
TXFR should preserve milestone history so users can understand how their wealth was built, not merely its current value.
12. Atlas Intelligence
Atlas is TXFR's conversational intelligence layer.
Atlas should have access to authoritative TXFR intelligence concerning:
- Goals;
- holdings;
- asset roles;
- market conditions;
- milestones;
- strategy rules;
- DCA plans;
- reserve capacity;
- historical decisions;
- Goal trajectory; and
- relevant derived intelligence.
Atlas should help users understand:
What changed?
Why does it matter?
How does it relate to my strategy?
Which milestone could this affect?
What options might I consider?
Atlas should avoid presenting deterministic commands such as:
"Sell XRP now."
or:
"Buy SCHD today."
Instead:
"XRP has entered one of the harvesting ranges established for this Goal. Harvesting a portion would advance your SCHD accumulation milestone while preserving most of your XRP exposure."
The distinction is foundational.
Atlas provides intelligence for decisions. It does not make the decision.
13. Strategy Lifecycle
Goals should change behavior as their destination approaches.
A conceptual lifecycle is:
ACCUMULATE
Establish holdings and recurring contributions.
GROW
Prioritize long-term compounding and appropriate growth.
OPPORTUNITY
Use predefined conditions to recognize unusually meaningful market circumstances.
HARVEST
Convert selected gains into progress toward durable Goal assets or reserves.
PROTECT
Reduce unnecessary risk as the Goal becomes increasingly funded or its destination approaches.
PREPARE
Position the Goal for its expected use.
ACHIEVE
Record completion and determine what happens next.
The lifecycle should not necessarily be strictly linear. Long-duration Goals may move repeatedly between Growth, Opportunity and Harvest states.
14. Parent-to-Adult Continuity
Future Wealth represents an important initial TXFR use case.
A parent may create and manage a Goal for a child over many years.
TXFR should preserve:
- contributions;
- holdings history;
- milestones;
- harvested gains;
- accumulated shares;
- strategy evolution;
- Atlas observations; and
- significant decisions.
When appropriate, responsibility for the Goal could eventually transition to the child.
The wealth history does not disappear.
A completed childhood Goal can become the foundation of the child's next Goal.
Future Wealth → First Home → Family → Financial Independence
TXFR can therefore grow with the person rather than serving only a particular stage of life.
15. Market Intelligence Architecture
TXFR does not need to become a market-data provider.
Conceptually:
External Market Data → TXFR Normalization → TXFR Intelligence → Atlas → User
External providers supply market facts.
TXFR determines what those facts mean within the user's Goal.
Examples of normalized information may include:
- current price;
- previous close;
- daily change;
- historical daily prices;
- recent highs and lows;
- drawdown;
- volatility measurements;
- asset metadata; and
- market status.
TXFR should avoid unnecessarily storing enormous quantities of raw market data when derived or bounded historical data satisfies the intelligence requirement.
16. Intelligence Architecture
The conceptual architecture should maintain clear authority boundaries.
Market Data Provider
Supplies external market facts.
TXFR Portfolio Data
Stores authoritative user holdings, Goals, strategies, milestones and decisions.
TXFR Intelligence Engine
Calculates deterministic conditions including:
- valuation;
- allocation;
- drawdown;
- milestone progress;
- DCA trajectory;
- harvesting conditions;
- reserve capacity;
- concentration;
- Goal trajectory; and
- strategy-state conditions.
Atlas
Interprets authoritative intelligence conversationally.
Atlas should not independently invent portfolio mathematics or market conditions that should have been deterministically calculated.
User
Makes the financial decision and records the resulting action.
The foundational architecture is:
Supabase stores truth. TXFR Intelligence calculates conditions. Atlas explains their meaning. The user decides.
17. Decision History
TXFR should eventually preserve not only transactions but decisions.
For example:
Atlas Observation Harvesting milestone reached.
User Decision Harvested 50 XRP.
Capital Transfer
- $500 → SCHD
- $300 → SWTSX
- $200 → Reserve
Result
- SCHD milestone advanced
- SWTSX milestone advanced
- Reserve replenished
- XRP exposure retained
This creates a longitudinal record explaining how the strategy produced its outcome.
18. TXFR MVP
TXFR v1 should remain intentionally small.
The MVP should prove that goal-aware capital intelligence is valuable.
MVP capabilities
Authentication
Secure individual user accounts.
Goals
Create a Goal with:
- name;
- purpose;
- target;
- target date/age;
- contribution objective; and
- basic strategy.
Manual Holdings
Users manually record:
- asset;
- quantity;
- account/location;
- cost basis where available; and
- asset role.
This should support external holdings such as cold-storage cryptocurrency.
Market Data
Automatically retrieve current and bounded historical market information for supported assets.
Portfolio Intelligence
Calculate:
- current Goal value;
- allocation;
- gains/losses where cost basis exists;
- drawdown;
- milestone progress; and
- basic Goal trajectory.
DCA
Allow recurring contribution goals and provide contextual DCA observations.
Milestones
Support:
- Goal-value milestones;
- asset-quantity milestones;
- reserve milestones; and
- harvesting milestones.
Atlas Intelligence
Surface meaningful observations based exclusively on authoritative TXFR data and derived intelligence.
Decision Recording
Allow users to record what they decided to do following an observation.
History
Show how contributions, decisions and capital transfers have advanced the Goal.
19. Explicitly Outside Initial MVP
TXFR v1 should not require:
- brokerage trade execution;
- automated cryptocurrency trading;
- custody of user funds;
- automatic money movement;
- high-frequency trading;
- tick-level market-data warehousing;
- autonomous portfolio management;
- tax filing;
- complex tax optimization;
- market prediction;
- guaranteed return projections; or
- Atlas independently issuing deterministic trade commands.
These capabilities should not be introduced merely because they are technically possible.
20. Product Experience
TXFR should feel less like a trading terminal and more like an intelligent wealth-building companion.
The primary experience should emphasize:
Goal
Where am I going?
Progress
How far have I come?
Milestones
What am I building toward next?
Atlas Intelligence
Has anything meaningful changed?
Opportunities
Are current conditions relevant to my strategy?
Decisions
What did I choose to do?
History
How did those decisions build this wealth?
Charts and market information support these questions rather than dominating the experience.
21. Initial Product Principles
- Every dollar has a job.
- Every asset has a role.
- Every strategy has a destination.
- Atlas observes, explains and identifies opportunities; the user decides.
- Market movement alone does not constitute an opportunity. Context does.
- Compounding should not be casually interrupted.
- New capital should generally be considered before dismantling long-term holdings.
- Successful speculation can progressively become durable wealth.
- Reserves exist to preserve optionality, not to guarantee a profitable entry.
- Milestones should measure progress, not encourage unnecessary transactions.
- TXFR should remember how wealth was built, not merely what it is worth.
- Strategy should evolve as the Goal approaches its destination.
- Intelligence should reduce emotional decision-making, not replace human judgment.
- TXFR should remain useful after one Goal has been achieved.
22. Product Identity
TXFR
TXFR represents more than the transfer of money between accounts.
It represents the intentional transfer of capital:
from income into assets;
from volatility into durable wealth;
from opportunity into compounding;
from today's decisions into tomorrow's possibilities;
and, in the longest view,
from one generation to the next.
Working Positioning
TXFR — Intelligent capital for meaningful goals.
Working Product Promise
Know where your money is going, understand why it matters, and make better-informed decisions about what happens next.
Foundational Idea
Build intentionally. Compound patiently. Recognize opportunity. Transfer progress forward.
23. Concept Status
TXFR Product Concept v0.1 establishes the initial product direction.
It is intentionally not an engineering specification, financial strategy specification, regulatory determination, or implementation plan.
Its purpose is to preserve the core idea before technical architecture constrains the product.
The next phase should validate the concept through a small number of representative Goal scenarios and determine which intelligence capabilities are necessary for a focused MVP.
Version 0.1 ends here.
